the return of the king: photos, pt. 1

It's been a while, cause I've been busy busy. I don't know what happened to my comments. I've given up on Enetation, chewing them out in their help forum for running such a shabby site. Now I need to find a new comment provider.

There is plenty to write about, but I cannot address it all. I finished Spring term, got two As and two Bs. I walked in the big stalin-grad ceremony. I helped folks move. Luke and Chad and I have been playing rock music. I've been trying to finish an album but getting frustrated with the lack of time to do so. And now Summer term is underway.
Poop! I think all of those things will have their own posts soon enough, but for now, here are some pictures of what's been going on.

Oh yeah, I did the graduation thing. It was an okay way to spend an afternoon, aside from the murderous heat that day.

The grads converge behind the new stadium bleachers...

Alex, wearing my hat. Note the G.I. Joe on top. He rode the whole way.

The pre-grad party. From left: swing, Luke, Octavio, Jennie, Jack in the bushes, Jose, and Joanie.

I went out to nature a while back with Sebastian and Candace. Candace baptized herself (or fell) in the river, and I got an incredible newt photo. The newt played the newt lute.

Watching my Momus DVD.
More pictures later.

study break.

I have a link here for all of you: An interview with Takashi Miike.

For those of you who care, Miike is an important contemporary film director whose films assault our preconceptions of what movies are supposed to be. He's the guy who made Ichi the Killer, Audition, and Dead or Alive. See them with a vomit bag.

For those of you who don't care, check out the video ad on the left side of the screen showing some lady falling down a hole. Now that's advertising.

"Egon... Your mucus."

OSU's Valley Library. Where I will be living for the next week.
It's a real horrorshow book place. The other day I spent an hour looking through a dictionary-sized book about Matthew Barney's Cremaster Cycle. I've always been tempted to hide somewhere on the 6th floor and wait around until after closing time. It wouldn't be too hard.

(...By the way, what the hell happened to my little comment thing? I'm gonna have to do some drive-bys down in the Eneteation hood.)
